Free Motion and Ruler Work Quilting Class

Here is a basic outline of some of the things we will be doing on the first day of class:
· What designs to draw out in what space
· Practice drawing many different types of quilting designs
· Understanding micro quilting
· We will cover how to take your drawings (and printed) and how to get them to
your quilt top (this will include different supplies not listed)
· You will learn how to plan out your designs using rulers.
· You will then stabilize your quilt layers and then outline your top.
Second Day of Class:
· We will practice a couple of your designs first.
· We will be quilting out your work today with some breaks of learning new quilting
designs.
· We will cover more advanced quilting designs and practice them out first.
· We will be quilting on our machines using what we learned.
