Variegate; Metallic...........avg. spool cost $8.50 and up for quality thread. Binding Services: I use the French style which is 2 & 1/2" wide (double fold) with your fabric. For lap size quilt this is a $15.00 charge. For twin size quilt this is a $ 20.00 charge. For double and up this is a $ 30.00 charge. Bindings are sewn on by machine and turned and hand sewn down on back side of quilt. Preparation of your Quilt: Please clip off thread edges and gently press quilt top. Please have your batting and backing at least 4 inches larger than your quilt top, this is for loading on the rails and ensuring that there is plenty of room for quilting. Also, please make sure the quilt top and backing are square and pressed. Do not pin or baste your top and backing together. If your quilt top is not laying flat and your boarders are wavy, this could cause problems in quilting your top. If I have to take off borders there will be a charge. (I will call you.) If I have to remove threads and trim and press, there is a $10.00 charge for this. I can supply backing and batting. The fees for these depend on the quality and what I pay for them. I wash my backings (There is no charge for this). If I have to piece the backings there is a charge of $15.00, this covers the cutting, ironing, and piecing. .
